About Portland Wedding Photographer

My Name is Alicia Vazquez and my Portland wedding photography business started as a hobby. I used to photograph my chiildren and began taking photographs for family weddings. I realized that my passion was truly an art. Making people smile and being genuine has translated well in my work. I took that passion, added training, research, photo contest, high end Canon cameras and lenses, top of the line editing software, advertising, a solid business plan and of course tons of creativity and thus Ravishing Photography was born. I love to cozy up with a nice book and warm cup of coffee. I'm in love with my husband I still feel like a newly wed. I always get nervous before meetings and so the first sentence that comes out of my mouth doesn't make much sense. I love taking awesome wedding, engagement, graduation photos but most importantly it makes me feel good when I capture a genuine moment. There is a time and place for everything. I would like to say that everything I shoot is in a photo journalistic style but honestly sometimes you have to set the stage. I always look for great opportunities and backgrounds. I don't like pushy people. I take my work seriously and like to be true to myself. I only say things I really mean and thats part of who I am. Have questions?
